Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Administrator to join our team at AFUSA. As a Clerical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative operations within the dealership. You will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks efficiently, supporting our sales and service departments, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales transactions, and customer information using dealership software systems.
  • Assist with data entry tasks related to sales, service appointments, and customer inquiries.
  • Handle all communication reporting to the Credit Bureau.
  • Record all bankruptcy filing.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for dealership management, including sales reports, inventory summaries, and financial records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient workflow.
  • Uphold dealership standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service excellence at all times.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dealership management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive terminology, sales processes, and financing options is desirable but not required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed to support dealership operations.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge of IDMS (preferred).
